We are seeking a dynamic, skilled and experienced person to join the Asset Strategy group as the Operations Manager – Waste Services.

The role:

The Operations Manager – Waste Services is accountable for the strategic, environmental and operational performance and management of the Waste and Resource Recovery Facility and Sand Mine co-located at the Dunmore Depot.

This position will manage the operational, financial, legislative, environmental and regulatory performance of the Dunmore site.

What we are seeking:

  • Transferable experience, skills and qualifications in either waste operations, civil engineering or environmental engineering
  • A passionate and driven person who is ready to take on a challenging and rewarding opportunity
  • The ability to lead, manage and inspire a team to achieve key priorities

What we are offering:

  • Permanent full-time position, 35 hours per week
  • Salary up to $1,862.48 per week, plus 9.5% superannuation
  • This position may be eligible for a Civil Liability Allowance of 3.5% of the weekly salary
  • Fully Maintained Leaseback Vehicle
