The role:

As a Rates Administration Officer, you will maintain the rates name and address register and Centrelink pensioner database ensuring payments are allocated correctly and changes to customer details are current.  You will also be required to assist the Rates team to ensure quality service is provided to our customers and produce certificates under s603 of the Local Government Act 1993.

Located within the Finance Group, the Rates team are a small and dedicated team who manage complex and confidential rates information to ensure payment from our residents and businesses are allocated correctly.   

We offer:

  • Full time, 35 hours per week, with access to flexi-time
  • Salary up to $1098.23 per week, plus 9.5% superannuation
  • Access to Local Government benefits such as Long Service Leave after 5 years, Parental Leave, Purchased annual leave and Fitness Passport
